Obituary
FREMONT: Nancy A. Leiser, 84, of Fremont, died at 8:30A.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Valley View Health Care Center in Fremont. She was born July 2, 1932 in Riley Township to the late Walter and Grace (Hirt) Zilles. On September 8, 1951 she married Leon (Joe) Leiser, he preceded her in death on June 20, 2005.
Nancy was a 1950 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Fremont. She retired from the Sandusky FSA office after 30 plus years of service. Nancy and Joe happily spent their retirement winters in Fort Myers, FL. She loved spending time with her family and friends in Ohio and Florida.
Nancy is survived by her daughters: Kim (Tom) Love, Chippewa Lake, OH; Linda (Lynn) Martin, Fremont, OH and Betsy (David) Murphy of Midlothian, VA; Five grandchildren: Joe (Joy)Love; Westfield Center, OH; Rob Martin, Naples, FL; Tim (Daisha) Love, Palmyra, PA; Jeffrey (Jordie) Martin, Lindsey, OH; Emma Murphy of Midlothian, VA; six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Shirley Brodbelt, Timonium, MD; Barbara (John) Cole, Ukiah, CA; and Mary (Ken) Manifold, Dayton, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters Kay Louise Zilles, Gwen Dunster and brother -in-law Sam Brodbelt.
The family would like to thank the staff of Valley View Health Care Center and Stein Hospice for the kindness and comfort offered to all at this difficult time.
Visitation will take place at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1187 CR 128 Fremont, OH. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 A.M. at the church with Rev. Robert L. Young officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arthritis Foundation or Stein Hospice. Keller- Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. |
